No More Glass Between Us.

Tommy was five days old the first time I held him. Tethered to a ventilator, a feeding tube, medical monitors — and his own glass ceiling. The isolette.

As I carefully placed him back in his isolette, his hand grabbed my pinky finger. This peaceful warrior — three pounds, fighting battles I couldn't fight for him — pinky promised me everything would be ok.

For six and a half weeks, he shattered expectation after expectation. The day they moved him to an open-air crib — no more glass between us — tears streamed down my face. I wasn't just watching a premature baby's progress. I was watching someone who refused to let any barrier limit his potential.

We all have our own invisible isolettes.
Big Break is how we break through them — together.

Big Break - Team Breakthrough's charitable arm.

Tommy taught me that breaking through glass ceilings isn't just about professional advancement. It's about refusing to let any barrier - visible and invisible - define what's possible.

Three Breaks. One Mission.

01

The NICU Break

Nine internships before my first full-time job in sports. Nine. I know what it means to grind for your break — and how much it matters to have someone in your corner passing you the plays to make it happen.

02

The Career Break

Tommy spent six and a half weeks in the NICU — fighting his way from an isolette, a glass box, to an open-air crib. No more glass between us. He refused to let any barrier limit his potential.

03

The Breakthrough

We all have our own invisible isolettes. Limitations. Labels. Lowered expectations. Glass ceilings. Big Break is how Team Breakthrough gives back — because breaking through glass ceilings isn't just professional. It's personal.

Giving back is at the heart of our family. Big Break is how we pass it forward — to the tiniest future leaders, and to the rising stars who need their big break to get started.

Big Break Mission

Through Big Break, 10% of revenue is donated to four organizations — Good Samaritan University Hospital, March of Dimes, The University of Georgia, and Georgetown University.

Big Break

Big Break is the giveback.

Ten percent of all revenue goes back to Big Break organizations.

NICU

Good Samaritan University Hospital

Tommy's hospital. The nurses, doctors, and specialists in that NICU sat with our family at the intersection of miracles and modern medicine for six and a half weeks. They helped Tommy break through his glass ceiling — monitoring every ounce, every breath, every milestone. Big Break is honored to give back to the team that gave us everything.

INFANT HEALTH

March of Dimes

When you leave the hospital with half your heart still in the NICU, you know how much this work matters. March of Dimes is a teammate in ending preventable infant and maternal health risks, closing the health equity gap, and making sure every family — regardless of circumstance — gets a fighting chance at a healthy start.

Endowement

University of Georgia

Students — or free agents, as we like to call them — are the future game changers. The Alfano and O'Brien Endowment at UGA supports the next generation of sports communicators through internships, professional development, and networking opportunities that change everything.
$30,000+ raised. Just getting started.

SIM Program

Georgetown University

Georgetown taught me what it truly means to lead off the field and champion others throughout their careers. Those lessons showed up in every locker room, every boardroom, and every mentorship conversation since. Georgetown didn't just prepare me for a career — it prepared me to lift others through theirs.

Together, Let's Change the Game

Let's help others shatter glass ceilings.
Let's lift others as we rise.

Every book you buy. Every Roster spot you claim. Every play you run — it goes back to the future leaders, even the tiniest ones, and the rising stars who need their big break.
